Woodworm can damage properties and if not treated cause major structural damage.

Treatment is normally the spraying of chemicals which are intended to kill the insects.

An alternative approach is to reduce the moisture content of the wood. The natural habitat of woodworm is very damp and if the content of the wood is lowered then the area becomes inhospitable to insects.

Desivent Woodworm Crystals can be placed in enclosed floor spaces and below floorboards to creating drier atmosphere. Desivent crystals are particularly useful as an after treatment to prevent re-infection of treated areas.
