DESIVENT - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC BOXES

Electrical and electronic boxes can suffer severe corrosion, particularly where contacts are opening and closing. During operation the air inside the enclosure may be heated increasing the absolute quantity of humidity.

When the air cools, the relative humidity increases and moisture will settle on exposed metal surfaces.

Use of a special desiccant such as Hydrium can adsorb "peak humidities" that lead to condensation and damage.
